I think this another one of those products that supposedly revolutionizes its goal, only to end up on the discount shelf a week or so later. Like those self-heating coffee mugs that warms itself upon opening.

A one-pound bag of sunflower seeds is my snack of choice, although it does make it difficult to play PR when I have to turn my head every 15 seconds to spit out the shells. And when I have the luxury, a little Maker's Mark and a couple ice cubes is nice.

Also, for the record, I run about 6'5" and the most svelte 260 pounds you have ever seen. I'm not quite in the shape I was as a kid, but I'm still a far better athlete than most.
