Starship Troopers 3
Has anyone seen this? It looks like a straight-to-dvd movie.
The original Starship Troopers is IMO one of the best films out there, yet the 'sequel' was a shite cash in on the name. ST3 I dunno; I don't have high hopes, but it does at least have Casper van Dien (Rico) in it again... Anyone seen it? Opinions? |

not comparable to the first, but has everything that the first had and more.

CGI sucked BALLS on the third one, even the second one had decent looking bugs, here they have animations that look like some 90s pc game

Best too keep your high hopes in a drawer somewhere for this one, Better than the second (even watching paint dry is better than No.2) but still no where near as good as the 1st.
More of a religion/I love America type movie...with bugs...and space, but they managed to get it all rolled into one waste of a DVD. Better spending your 3 bucks on an icecream than this movie, Icecream will have a longer lasting impression. |

Speaking of Starship Troopers, I heard the FPS game sucked too... When I saw the screenshots before it came it, I admit it looked decent. Good thing I read the reviews on how bad it was...

the FPS game was.............not up to standard....
But still a laugh! shooting big aliens that attack in swarms is just good gameplay! the 2nd and 3rd films sucked, truely. The first film was great, the others sucked, sucked bigtime. |
