Karaoke bars in Japan are loads of fun, they take it so seriously out there!

Get as many Engrish pictures you can, some of the t-shirts you can buy out there are full of lulz.

Beautiful country, stunning women, shame about the beer.

Be good, have fun.

Man, I hope you have time to see that amazing bamboo forest located on the outskirts of Kyoto. I have looked at plane tickets so I could go see it, but it was like $3000 round trip, and that was just for the flight. Then you have to take a train and lodging and other stuff. Take me some pics if you go

My uncle went there after highschool to be with his Japanese gf.

Unless your living on campus, transportation is gonna cost you a fortune. Like an arm and a leg and your future child.

/Hate Tokyo rail system.

My program pays for my transpo to and from school, which is really nice... it also means I can get to shinjuku for free

Heh, my friend tried to do the blog + pics thing since he's teaching Engrish there now, but pretty much gave up on it cause of the lack of free time. He's probably gonna never come back cause now he's got a GF. Plus he had yellow fever to begin with.

And from what I've heard from the companies that send people overseas to teach Engrish, the kareoke bars are pretty cheap, and you can essentially drink for free in many of them.
