This is not a new thing..

These forums have always been full of leet players who are far superior to mortal men.. and always look and talk down to less experienced players.. in other words, assholes, they have been around long before 0.5

These forums are also full of really nice helpful follows who do what they can to help and be nice to newbies.

In that one example you gave (not the Blackhawk one), all the people acting like idiots got an infraction handed out for it. So even if people aren't acting nicely, they're being punished for it.

If you catch someone making a really stupid re-suggestion, inform them of this in polite terms, and if I, or another moderator, but I'm not sure about them, are online, shoot us a pm, including a link to the thread and what's wrong with it.

Guys, moderators exist for a reason. Hopefully every regular knows my opinion of experienced players who aren't willing to spend even 30 seconds explaining something clearly to a new guy. I won't tolerate people being arseholes to newbies on the forums and I don't tolerate it in-game either.

If you have a problem with how someone is treated by other forum members, report the post by PMing a moderator who will warn them for it.

You're next if you keep up with that attitude. Saying what you want is fine, if you're not being a twat about how you say or do it.

Beefy was a twat about it, so he's gone. You might want to think about how you deal with moderators and the Development team in general, too.
