Recommend Me A Good Graphics Tablet

I'm a photographer, so i'll be using it mainly for small adjustments (i'm wondering if there's even a point in getting one), although I want to get into digital painting some time, and i've heard they come in use here.

So, anyone from the UK willing to recommend me a good one? I've heard Wacom are the leading brand, but they seem very expensive.

Wacom tablets have always been good, I use one at work. At home I have an A3 Tevion, relatively cheap and reliable.

Google about for Tevion, I've not heard of them before I was given the one I have but I'm sure they're more affodable than Wacom.

I've had a A5 Wacom tablet for many years now, don't use it that often and I've never used a different make but I've no complaints.

I have a Wacom Bamboo A5 tablet, its great.

I had a major problem using it with PS CS2 though, it kept freezing PS, losing all my unsaved work...very annoying. Fortunately this is no longer a problem now i have CS3, and its really nice to use.

I have an intuos3 6x8. It's pretty....pretty badass.

Don't get anything smaller than a 10x6. It's a waste. I have a 12x10 vistablet. I like it. It's 125 bucks, so you do get what you pay for. you can't make it only work on one screen when you have dual screens.

10x6? That's massive! I think i'll be using it mainly for small adjustments. The bamboo range is tempting, price-wise and entry-level-wise.
