Yea, this is why I don't really go for games that don't have decent customer service. Or in this case, a distributor with bad customer service(and a crappy system too!).

How else were they supposed to ensure that he was running Vista64 and using a 64-bit CPU etc? Just take his word for it?

Shouting and getting angry is the quickest way to get closed down by a tech/customer support rep. ALWAYS, your best option is to stay calm, stay reasonable and just out-wait the bastards.

Then use the length of time it took to deal with your issue as a formal complaint and get an apology and compensatory payment out of them
I think one of the main things also is I don't think a single one of EA's responses was not copied and pasted.

Who here played Crysis more than a week? Beat it twice in 5 days and then uninstalled it as I thought it was the biggest game failure of the century. The first half was ok, but meh... move on...

Admittedly, they didnt really seem to ever listen to his messages, even as rude as they were, they never seemed to hear his side... bringing up downloading problems when he already had it DL'd...

Meh.. crysis... lawl.

I'm fully behind the guy with the problem, even tough they were "rude" messeges he had a reason to be upset. EA support is utter shiet, I remember I was having problems with 1942 and they just ignored everything i said really.

I've played Crysis ages. Admittedly I am found in the CryEngine 2 Sandbox rather than the full game !

I noticed a Cheomesh on the Crymod forums, pretty sure someone here uses that username ?
