Think I'll stick with FF a bit longer.

Try the benchmark test against your old/present browser :

V8 Benchmark Suite

And Chubben, although its hard to make out in the legal language - the bit in the EULA that you need to take notice of is the "Content which you submit, post or display"
Basically it is saying that if you post a comment on say this forum, you give them the right to display it. - Nothing new there but you know what lawyers are like. They aren't stupid - its open source - everyone can see the code, so if they put anything dodgy in it there would be a serious backlash and it would flop.

V8 Benchmark Suite

Yeah I'm liking this new browser, nice clean layout, and its quite fast. The scores I'm getting as per the above benchmark are:

Chrome: 1816
FireFox: 181 (One-Hundred Eighty One)
IE7: 36

LOL! At 43% complete IE popped up a dialogue saying that the current script is causing IE to run slowly and so it asks if it should continue to run it...PWND/FAIL!

EDIT: The only issue I've seen thus far is that it has trouble with .gif speeds. A prime example being this sig on our forums: http://g.photos.cx/Ta-daitsgone353x150b-3b.gif

In IE/FireFox it runs at normal/fast speed, and in Chrome it is in slow-mo.

Uh oh guys... not to rain on your chrome coated parade, but I went to youtube for the first time using Chrome, and the video played stopped, played stopped, froze the whole tab... then got the unresponsive sad face and brought me back to realitymod

The video was freezing, it was fully loaded, so it wasn't a streaming problem. Might have just been a one time thing, probably, Im sure they've checked youtube...

Re: Bye bye Firefox and IE - Hello Google Chrome?

YouTube is theirs, I'm sure they checked

Anyhow, I hate the fact there's no "un-close" function (yet) . In FF, I can restore like 5 closed tabs.

It starts up ridiculously quick though

Re: Bye bye Firefox and IE - Hello Google Chrome?

A few little things:

spellchecker checks, but doesnt correct... wtf? oh wait... maybe it does... doesnt seem as good as firefox's though[a lot of the time i get no suggestion, just "Undo" ???]

When saving an image or something, you can specify the directory, but it doesnt remember it past one image. So if you want to save multiple images, you have to track down the destination EVERY time

the lack of using the middle mouse button to scroll around

Cant get the specs on an image by right clicking. I use this to check peoples forum sigs if they seem WAY too big. Now theres this Inspect Element, but it gives the dimensions of the entire portion of the page [like, an entire post pox, etc]

Incognito is nice because I dont want my home page thingy showing some of the things I have gone to... :P Who knows whos gonna just load up the internet to check something really quick... prolly no one on my PC, but you never know... Nothing dirty, just private enough to warrant not wanting it sprawled over my main page saying OKITA WENT HERE LOLZ

Also, the whole bookmarks thing on the side of the Homepage is kinda useless, same with the frequently visited image things. I mean, my most visited sites are ALREADY tabs right at the top of EVERY window... why do I need them on my front page as well when I can already see them? meh... its nice though, I guess... nice and big....

There are a few more little things, but for open beta, I am really enjoying it. It feels so much faster and even more fun. So...welcoming[?] and fresh to surf the web
