Re: Bye bye Firefox and IE - Hello Google Chrome?

There already is a kind of google OS
gOS - Discover a Good OS

You can even buy netbooks with a version of it already installed.

Also, MS just released beta2 of IE8, and check out this quick review:
IE8 is a memory hog

I can't see many people sticking with IE8 if they don't fix that by final release.

That's not Google OS . Just some window manager with shortcuts to all Google apps . Comparable with Ubuntu perhaps?

I realize it is not an official google OS, but it is pretty darn close considering all roads lead to google stuff. And it is extremely light on resources.

Ok its 11:30am. Google has started its conference meeting in california about google chrome.

Wait... thats 11:30 western time... DAMN IT! I think it will be available within the next 4 hours then... damn it all to hell!

Somebody was saying it could be a Google humor joke, now wouldn't that be effin hilarious!?

I think at least 4 people will commit suicide if it turns out as a joke.

This browser is the shit.

Only fault I can see so far is that you can't press Ctrl+I to make italics in Vbulletin, etc.

Whoah, even scrolling feels faster/smoother/more responsive.

Im freakin out man... just typing I feel like Im trippin' its such a nice feeling.

I love the tab dragging and creating new windows from them etc. Google really has their proverbial shit together.
