aiming feels wierd, but its a blasty blowing every living thing to hell

Its nice that you can take some AI mates along with you on viechles, but playing online Co-Op is the shiznit.

I find that the aiming occasionally sticks to a target as an auto-aim; it don't happen all the time but when you're in a firefight and your cursor glues itself to (usually to the side of) an enemy that is less of a priority than the gunner of the tank you're trying to steal, it is somewhat annoying.

I hate it when games tell you what to do then they have something saying

"To open your PDA hit *insert icon*" how the heck am I supposed to know that icon = that button? So how do you call in airstrikes?

Also, how to hijack tanks?

you have to first have the strike choice equiped from teh PDA. You choose from what you have with you. Then depending on what you chose its either a laser designator, smoke, beacon, or some external satelite camera.

This part of the calling in stuff kinda annoys me, becasue to drop a smoke for an artilary strike you need to be close and the strike range is huge so you really cant run away when it hits.

i can tell by gameplay if i'd like a game or not, and i don't like merc 2.
saw the review on gametrailers a while ago and it just confirmed what i already though. ot's stupid and the controls doesn't seem that smooth. looks just as slimsy as "just cause"

Once the top gunner is dead, you run up the the vehicle (usually the front/front side or barrel) and hit enter, you climb onto the vehicle and then get a little minigame (more of those lovely stupid icons) of 1-4 motions of one way or another killing the crew.

For the VZ light tank, you climb up the front of the tank, first use your 'melee' button to open the hatch and disarm the commander, then rapidly press jump to grab his grenade, nut him and drop the grenade inside, killing the crew. Some vehicles only need one action, while the attack choppers need 4, once you grapple onto them.

It takes a little while to get used to what the icons mean, but once you do it isn't too bad.

I hate the smoke use for calling in big weapons too; it's a bit stupid really, so I tend to stock up on satellite/laser guided weapons when I can. It is amusing though, dropping a smoke grenade over a wall and running away before a huge amount of munitions falls from the sky onto the enemy below. Smoke is fine for calling in transit/extraction/supplies, but for big weapons...

The Beacon is even worse; you can't seem to throw it as far.

ok one more thing, how do I hijack the armored car? I know to hit R but I cant figure out the boot icon? Its not jump or crouch

It is jump, but you have to press it repeatedly and quickly. That's the tank inside the mansion though. If you mean the armoured car from the first UP mission, it's just reload to get in and jump to KO the driver.
