The NA indians are pissing me off, stand too far away and they make pincushion out of you with their arrows and get too close and they mob you with their melee units which seem to be more than a match for my colonial line of foot in close quarters. Have to get researching some decent bayonets, upgrade so i can build cannon and get fire by rank too. Maybe some proper cavarly would help too, native horse and dragoons aren't really 'cavalry'. | |

I'm at 1741 now, and I'm getting crazy random lag in the campaign mode, especially when I select armies/navies, wasn't getting it at the start.
Its a great game...but these lag bugs etc are so annoying. (though previous titles suffered from the same pre1.1 problems) on another note, I'm disappointed that all buildings aren't garrisonable, only the big ones. (though they make awesome suppressive fire positions) at least in this game the AI can be brought on ur side with enough incentive (monies...) |

-I love it when the enemy garrisons inside buildings, then I stay on the other side of the map and demolish it with my howitzers, effectively killing an entire unit without losing one man.

I was out last night with one of the QA team leads on Empires (Sega) perhaps I should have given him a punch for the bug issues? :P Slowly getting into it myself. Now I have fire by rank researched I'm happy!
