Talking Camel Spiders - Marines have something new to worry about.

Out in the middle east, there is a large arachnid called the Camel Spider.
They are terribly aggressive, carry enormous pinchers, are nocturnal, and can grow up to about 6 inches long or more.
They can run from 10 to 16 km per hour and are very hardy.

This topic is dedicated to these ill tempered beasts.

Sorry folks, but they are really not that bad. That 1st photo has already been proven to be not accurate of their real size. It is more like when a fisherman catches a little fish and sticks it up to the camera in front of him to make it look big.

Look how small it is in all the other vids. Hell, the park I work in outside of D.C. has bigger wolf spiders than that. And they love to hang out in the women's bathhouse for some reason. You would not believe the screams that come out of there.

The has turned into the snipe hunting joke for a new generation of military kids.

lmao. That made me chuckle. I remember running around a room, bayonet drawn, trying to stab the sh*t out of a few of these things. When you stand on a big one, the bulbous back-end on it pops, spurting what can only be described as cat diorria about 4 foot away. Satisfied was an understatement.

There's a vid going about of a US Marine (I think?) eating one. Sick sick f**ker...
