Whats wrong with my rig?

For some reason my fps on games always suck I always get 20-30 FPS yet I have a fairly good system.

Nvidia 8600GTS
2Gig ram
2 intel 2.8ghz processor (physical)
Windows XP Sp2

get 1 more gig of RAM, and run BF2.exe at one cpu affinity in the task manager.

Would changing it to one CPU affinity change that much?

i dont know but im have it selected on all of my 4! cores and running @ 100 Fps

Bf2 was designed for only one. It helps. Try it.
When you get to the login screen.
Alt + Tab out.
Press ctrl + alt + del.
select process tab.
right click on bf2.exe.
select one cpu under affinity.
right click again and set it to priority.-. HIGH
alt tab and load in.

Im going to try that. I too have 2 2.8ghz CPUS(at least i think).

What settings/resolution?

You are talking about PR right?

Whats the difference between HIGH and REALTIME?

I also set my pr.exe to high and one affinity.
As well as my widescreen fixer to high and both affinity.
and i set the ~5.0001.exe to low priorty.

Yeah i'm talking about PR. 1280x1024 res I think and medium resolutioin all around no AA
