That "Battle" trailer knocked me off my feet. I think its a huge improvement over the original wic trailers. Trumps the new york cutscene imo.

(and tanktillery lol?)

Should be interesting playing from Soviet perspective. Hope they expand a bit on the original USSR units. MP has sort of killed off the novelty of using soviet equipment.

- on a side note, anyone know the name of the "plane" at 0:46 (battle trailer). its a sea skimming amphib assault plane that was cancelled.

After I saw the trailer for the original game once in a games store, I knew then that I had to have that game. I love the cinematic feel of the WiC trailers, it's really immersive and shows off the game, not only in terms of gameplay but also concept.

Glad to see that Ubisoft are allowing Massive to go ahead with SA, I was worried when Sierra sold them (and retained the Ground Control rights, damn thier oily hides!) that it'd never see the light of day.

Well, it was. Sorta.

When Vivendi dumped Massive(the developers), there was noone to publish the game, so production stopped.
Then Ubisoft bought Massive and Soviet Assault is on it's way once more. But only for PC this time.

	The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
