MSDOS Command Prompt

ok guys who can help me out whit this i want to give a dad hard time so i want to remote shut down it from my pc over LAN MS DOS so i do net view then i get my dads pc name
\\name

then i do

shutdown -s -f -t 30 -c This is a planned shutdown of windows to prevent this from happening again trow this PC in the bin -m \\name

but it aint working

you should lunch it under same admin name & password which presents on yours second PC
(easyest way: Administrator have same password on both PCs)

hehehe, in A+ Certification I got to learn how to secure shell into my schoolmates computers and init 0 them using linux, I just had to know their admin password. So in this case, you may probally need to login as admin as well. Im not familiar with MSDOS commands so good luck on your prank.

yup all the comamnds explaned

-s shutdown
-r shutdown and restart
-f force shutfdown it will close all app
-t 30 time to shutdown
-c ad a comment
-l log off
-m \\remote shutdown
-d reason shutdown
-i Display of GUI interface must be first option !

shutdown -i is all you need, you should be able to figure out the rest.
