How does your countries health care compare to the US?
So, how does it? Obviously America's health care is more like death care, but how good do other countries care for it's people?
(Just watched Sicko btw, so i am asking out of curiosity) |

actually our health care is one of the better ones, but expensive. In canada you have to wait in line, if you are missing a liver, but the person ahead of you has a headache, you still have to wait in line.

Though if you are trying to say one is better then the other, then is flawed as people like different styles. Some people like Canada's, where everybody gets treated and everybody can wake up the next day knowing if they were ever in a really serious condition that required medical care. They were always covered money wise. Some people like America's as well, not medical wise of course as the fact so many Americans can't afford it and get turned down, that is not what it should be about but it really cuts down on tax's so people can afford the luxurys they want. It just all depends on what you want, I personally like Canadas. I hate the high tax's, but for the safety net. It's worth it in my opinion. Britian's is the same as Canada's, just theres is a lot better. France's owns though. If you ever saw France's Health Care system, you would pee your pants.

I think anywhere in the world its a case of you get what you pay for. USA probably has the most advanced healthcare available in the world - if your willing/capable of paying for it. Maybe best value or accessabilty would be a better question. You can get world class medical treatment in third world countries for a fraction of the cost of what it would cost in the "west", but the relative cost against average income would probably be the same.

![]() "HOLY F**KING S**T, I'VE BEEN STABBED" "Quiet down, sir. This man has a headache." Us Canadians are a simple folk, but we aren't that stupid. The preponderance of Canadians are pleased with the healthcare system here. There are very few people who would prefer a privatized system.

in my country if you got a headache you go to your gp, if you broken your leg you go to the medical clinic, now if your missing your liver (which would never happen) you go to the hospital.
but my countrys problem with health care is that the high end doctors are leaving to go to other countrys to get better pay |

My healthcare has always been good enough for my purposes. Issues with some places not liking government insurance, though. Hopefully we'll keep it privatized.
