Not if you use AI mods like UPS, DAC2, etc, combined with a good mod.

Yeah, well I'm sure those mods are super great, but it's still just a 'comp-stomp.' No ai mod or otherwise for ARMA will ever match the fun or intensity of playing against real humans. I'm not even going to qualify that statement with an 'in my opinion,' because I don't think it's necessary or anyone could reasonably argue with it, unless we're talking about chess and deep blue here. Plus the TG server, the topic of this thread, does not run any of those mods, of which I'm sure you are aware, having seen you play there quite a bit.

And, yeah, I like playing sahrani life. It's fun. It has human players with whom to interact and possibly rob. But I'm glad I was able to amuse you today.

To each his own. I've played plenty of coop that rivals anything in adversarial. It's entirely based upon the mission design (and guess what? yep, that's right - pub servers don't offer the best stuff by virtue of them appealing to a pub playerbase) and the playerbase.

You go right ahead and believe whatever you'd like. Call it fact if you want, too, if that makes it feel more 'right'. Your complete dismissal of coop as a game mode is about as amusing as your self-proclaimed preference for Sahrani Life.

I guess you've played every TG mission on their server (all 250+ of them) and can say with absolute certainty that none of them use the AI scripts mentioned?

Many Australians play this? I'd love to pick up Arma and QG but haven't bothered just yet. I wasn't sure that many people play it these days, however, I'm willing to pay the $70 if I can find a game at any time. I used to have the demo, I think? Was there a multiplayer demo? I remember playing a multiplayer game and it was pretty good.

If I can't find Australian servers, what is the netcode like? For instance, in PR I am able to play on any server with a ping under 350 and have no problems.

I'm a member at TG, if I'm after a proper, tactical game, then I'd probably have to join one of the scheduled battles?

I tried the multiplayer demo when it 1st came out a long time ago, and it sucked. From what I hear even now it is no good and not a true rep of the game.

To play on TG, the only times we usually have a password is Sunday afternoons and most Wed. evenings.

And to get the password, you just have to look in our fourms, it isn't by invitation only or something.
