IMHO just get ArmA, its the same engine and AFAIK its the same publisher. Ok so you probably cant do many more things in ArmA than you can on VBS2 but its more or less the same for a damn site less money.

And its Virtual Battle Space, not battle station.

Virtual Battle Space - Home

However if you got money to burn then why not LOL, do you really wanna pay $1500 for a sim? well its not a game thats for sure and no doubt youll have a hard time finding anyone else thats bought it to play along side.

It probably is. It's a simulator. Not a game. ArmA, as tough as it is sometimes is still a game. VBS2 isn't.

Don't get me wrong. If you buy it as an individual, you're out of your mind .

ye, uses the same maps, same textures etc how I knew it was ArmA with only watching 30secs as it uses thous blatant L3DT default textures all over its terrain which you can spot from a mile away

The main purpose of this product from the sounds of it is a slightly modified version of ArmA that gives a few extra features that people may need for more of a "simulator" as such, but probably the biggest change about it is the license you buy with the product which would allow armed forces to use it as a training tool or w/e.

Thats my guess anyways with doing no research what so ever

To be correct about it ( ) ArmA is a modified version of VBS. ArmA was released to the general public as a more accessible and cost effective version of VBS then turned into a game for general release
