I'm pretty sure HeroModding didn't even know what a MR-443 was!

My question is whats the point of plagiarism over the internet?

I mean you really cant make your self look all cool and uber 1337 over the internet can you??

Or some comments by a few guys on a forum that make you feel good about yourself?

Its not even worth discussion, but I will say this. Its stupid, and they are lucky we havnt contacted turbosquid to pursue legal action.

That he was apparently trying to make money from them makes it somewhat dangerous. $1 is still money and in the eyes of the law pushes it over the edge from plagiarism, which can be solved civilly into fraud, which is a legal matter. If legal action had been taken, I would not be surprised if a short prison sentence would be involved. He'd get all the attention he wanted and more from Bubba I'll bet.
