That was by far the best April Fools prank Ive ever seen/had done to me. I saw it early in the morning and about flipped. It must say a lot about the mods realism goal if we all believed it, right?

I got my MOD status about a week before becoming a CON, so I still have both abilities and I still actually do both. Lately, I have slowed down on moderating and spent more on mapping, but I still will lock and warn/infract when I come across things.

Juvenile pranks. The dean of my school had a really lame one yesterday. My school is a Quaker founded school, so we are the "Earlham Quakers" or something. SO he sends this email explaining how since schools w/ names like "Indians", "Braves", and "Chiefs" are changing mascotts, that Earlham has decided to do that too. SO we got a link to vote for a new mascott...

The choices were the
Earl Hams. <----got my vote, hands down
Something Squirrels. Really lame...
Soy Beans <---- tons of vegans/vegetarians here

anyway, basically it was soo lame that it didnt even qualify as an april fools joke. Once you voted you got an email response saying April Fools.

Like, when I see mascotts like The Earl Hams I honestly dont think its serious, I think its just a for fun vote for like, an honorary mascott. Something theyll do every year... Something that gives the person that mindset isnt really a prank or a joke. Its just stupid.

Anyway... I cant wait to check the FH2 forums to see what happens after all those nasty comments from members in the Forgotten Hope Heroes thread... :P
