We are all Danes now.

I totally side with the Danish govt in this assault on freedom of the press.

Period. I have seen them with signs that literally read "Down with Freedom"..

To me that says it all in this conflict.

I think this site should support Denmark to with a banner from the site above.

I can't say for sure but I do not think the site would take such a political stand that would probably cause trouble on either side of this very touchy issue.

Well, it's the Freedom of speech that allows the modding community to even exists. I can't see why a Project Reality would worry about offending someone who wants to destroy freedom of speech.

The way I see, if you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything.

I dont think you are worried about offending these people, check them out...you want REALITY?:

They do not want to destroy freedom of speech, they are simply offended by what the news paper has printed. Religion is a huge part in the lives of many Muslims and to have the founder of their religion made fun of and depicted as a terrorist or as supporting the violence that gives them a poor standing in the world is something that would probably turn many people off if it happened to them.

Look at it this way, when Monty Python's Life of Brian was released it was protested by the Vatican.

Again of course violence isn't the way to go. That is wrong. But so is stereotyping a religion by the acts of the extremists.

I don't believe I said they did. I'm saying religion is a touchy subject, why fan the flames even more?

From here I suggest a Dev decide whether or not the site will take sides.
