I saw it but didnt give it the importance lol i thought it was like a human that tried to get across the whole fun lol

The point of the task is to only pay attention to a WHITE ball thrown by people dressed in WHITE. Anything BLACK was to ignore, hence, I did not notice the bear, but counted 13 correct. If i'd have looked at the video with the order "look for unusual things", or simply "look at this video", I'd have noticed the bear but not counted the passes. It is not surprising that I missed something that looked like a player of the other team when I was clearly told to focus on the white team only. Yes, its quite interesting how people do not notice silly stuff, but if the order they get is not to look for anything but passes, it is not surprising that they look for nothing but the passes at all.

Again, more interesting would have been to see a video WITHOUT the clear order to look at a specific thing but with things NATURALY drawing attention to them so we miss others without someone telling me: Look at everything white in this video but at nothing black! And then saying: haha, you didnt notice the black bear!

(Of course, I could refuse to look at white things only, but then I'd fail at counting, which would also be considered failing the test. Some might be able to do both, counting and looking for the bear, however. Those have my respect.)

though i didn't see the bear

also i support adverts that help protect cyclists and motorbikers, especially after what happened to me 3 weeks ago

the positioning of the white players seems designed to divert attention to positions on the screen where the bear isn't as well.

in any case, its a good practical demonstration of the kind of attention fields that exist when driving.
