Operation Flashpoint

I got operation flashpoint without any expansion pack and i saw the game with all his expansion packs in a shop for $20 (normal price)

The expansion pack gives you the ability to use much more community created mods, maps and models.

What a question! "Shall I buy OFP?"
For heavens sake don't wait! Go get it!! It'll turn out to be the gaming experience of your life!
Also, do get the expansionpacks as they will contain some vital updates.

I recall this one time as a spec-op when me and three teammates where supposed to take out some tanks in a coastal town. I spent several hours (realtime) on my belly crawling from one bush to the next, avoiding patrols and trying to get to this point in the road where a patrolling tank turned.
To cut the story short, I had both legs shot through and had to crawl back to friendly territory. That was fun!

no, sorry, I just saw "...should I get OFP..." stopped reading there cause I got so excited.

For sheer immersion and the feeling that you're actually there, nothing comes close to OFP. Yet.

The only other time felt like this was the first couple of times I played the original Doom when it first came out.... Yeah, I am that old.... :P

It's an awesome game!

But, the model animations make me wanna puke.

The Marine Assualt add on pack is a good one to pick up. It adds bleeding, artillery strikes new models of soldiers and weapons. AK's with kobra sights and the M249 with the elcan scope is a nice addition. Used to play a lot of OFP with the guy who did the weapon models. He's been pretty busy working on OFP2 the last few months.
