I get a kick out of servers that bann for laguage but come on your playing a game in which your simulating war and killing people. Does it make sense to anyone that you should be able to kill people but not cus? Never made sense to me.

Yeah, I never really understood that, but either way, it's their server-- they could ban you because of your skin colour if they wanted to.

Even more strange, when you really think about it, is that we have substitutes for all the common swears (i.e shoot, crap, darn, heck, screw). It's not like you don't know what's implied, and even if I were to say 'f**k you', your imagination could still fill in the blanks.

In the end, it's just language, and I really don't know why people are uptight about it, especially in a virtual warzone, but either way, I acknowledge and respect the fact that they may not like/tolerate it.

Learn to cuss in several different languages besides ENGLISH, always works for me and its still very effective given the international populace of the Internet

bf2cc has kicking for foul language turned on by default, one of the first things I disabled.

So perhaps you played on some server that was running with the default settings for bf2cc.

if someones offended by it they should just ignore it. like u said its just words. if someone says f#ck off to me, id be offended cos there aiming at me but if someone just says it whats the problem.

I said the F word and they kicked me...

I rejoined and on the map Gulf of Oman, I realized the USMC were seizing the hotel so my effort to take the east beachhead was useless. As a result, I decided to say the s word and I got banned.

yeah thats harsh. but i can see why there annoyed its like when someone says no tanks, and you get in a tank and get kicked then come on again and start using a tank. its a stupid rule, but its still the rules they want and you gotta think about that
