Which pasta for a pasta bridge

Ok I'm doing a group project for physics and we need to make a pasta bridge that can hold the most weight. Our bridge is going to be a triangle, does any one have any idea what kind of pasta we should use to ensure the bridge doesn't break easy or at all?

Don't assume anything or you will make an ass out of you an me.

Use some sort of tube pasta. I'm pretty sure they make a long version of it. Then fill the tubes with glue, if you can.

Those spiral bits are tough as old boots, what about those? Or masses of spaghetti all tightly bound together?

the main problem here is not really what type of pasta, but how you join the pasta to make the bridge will be the critical thing tbh.

the pasta itself is more or less the same strength, thou the pasta shape will play a big part into how well it holds.

from the looks of things, the round pasta would be the easit to join and the most sturdy pasta there, thou to make a real choice you need to tell me the rules you need to go by, like how much pasta are you limited too (is it in wait etc?), how do you plan to join the pasta up (glue?) and stuff like that

Are you penalized for total weight of pasta/glue used?

When i visited Canterbury I saw some penis and breast pasta on sale. It would make an interesting bridge- but I wouldn't bet on its strength.

Respect the R-Staff, they are pretty...pretty badass
so, if you don't like PR, get a refund

DO you have any limitations? When I did this in high school (it was toothpicks and glue, not pasta) I filled a mold glue-gun glue, tossing in toothpicks as I filled the mold. The teacher was pissed off, but I told her that my design was based off of rebar, and besides, I hadn't broken any rules. My bridge was by far the most successful.

we had to do this with lolipop sticks and a glue gun, suspension bridge ftw, means you are allowed to use metal wires which means your bridge wont break under weight unless you forcefully smash it.

This is very much like what I was talking about, acutally.

Fill the tube pasta with glue.
