Got it a couple days back, its fun... but a bit repetative, especially if you abosolutely suck as multiplayer RTS and want to stick to single-player.

Yeah, I agree with Reaper. It doesn't help that I tried to play a monster game, which admittedly was a lot of fun, but after spending more than 8 hours playing I decided my time was better spent on things like real life. I know, seems foolish, but what can I say.

If you thought PR rounds took a long time in 0.7, this game is not for you. But it's definitely an in-depth RTS, got a lot of cool stuff. Having 4 of your capital ships and like 80 heavy cruisers (or whatever they are) tear an enemy fleet apart is a sweet sweet thing.

I may buy this game, I suck at it but its really fun.

I don't know why but managing my economy and making powerful diplomatic treaties is awsome!

Hey guys, thought i'd put some more info up

IGN: Sins of a Solar Empire Update
More updates on the way and stardock are going for an expansion including new races AND a single player campaign!

I've been getting really into the multiplayer games now (TEC FTW!!!) so if any1 fancies a game xfire me - trekkyaaron

also, if u've got a beefier computer than is needed for sins try this mod to make the effects a bit cooler. You can delete the gamechanges folder so that only the graphical upgrades are included.

General rule for newbies- if a player uses TS he is friendly, if he doesnt; take ur chances lol

What a novel concept. I niche game that has strong developer support that doesn't end at the 3rd or 4th patch.

I'll have to check this out. It seem to appeal to the "Loved Homeworld/Homeworld2 but always wanted more" in me.
