\o/ I'm in this independent music video

Band is called "City in Transit"

Track is called "Six Months"

It was for a project in the college I go to, I was part of the group that tracked, engineered and mastered the song. I also ended up being in this video. I warn you, it makes no sense whatsoever......

Band wouldn't be my cup of tea, but they're good at what they do

YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

EDIT: I'm the twat you see for two seconds in the orange shirt, wearing a hat.

Weird video, at least it's something a bit different.

Song is decent, sounds like Glassjaw.

"So tell me just how come were the Taliban
Sat burning incense in Texas
Roaming round in a Lexus
Sittin’ on six billion oil drums
Down with the Dow Jones, up on the Nasdaq
Pushed into the war zones."

Yeah it looks red

But yeah, that's me. I'll upload a proper mix of the song when I get it, just in case anyone actually likes it

The video is a little bit boring. The song is missing a rhythm track though. Using dual lead guitars on a song with no rhythm track really takes a way an integral part of something called 'music'.

The song could be so much better and actually quite good, regardless of it being emo or not.

The dual leads only leave drum and bass for a rather weak rhythm whilst employing interesting melodies only to create a waste of time. The dual leads also go over the vocals. I can accept that in emo music it is a common benchmark to do such a thing, but even most high ranking emo enthusiasts will know tha you don't do it for over a minute and it is a common musical no-no.

I rock so you don't have to.

I got sick before the final mixing session, had that not happened it would have been me engineering it and I would have most certainly not have left the bass/drums so buried in the mix
