It doesn't worry me about the new rules. Those type of discussions tend to lead to a bunch of "6 o'clock news watchers" calling each other names back and forth. Should be lot more peaceful here now and a lot more focused on what it is here for - PR!

The Thought Police have won . Didn't see this silly thread so I posted my response in the news and politics section .
Probably should get rid of the politic debate section as well while your at it, it's obvious free speech is not tolerated on the forumz I wonder how long it will take before this kind of crap leaks into our society with soft panzies from this new generation comming. I give it about another ten years and will see the same rules and regulations infecting our Constitution in fact its already started . Good Night and Good Luck. |

Free speech is tolerated, so long as it's not free speech that leads to arguments, flaming, and R-MODs having to play nanny for threads. I don't give a flying screaming monkey's anus what your personal beliefs are, so long as they don't hurt anybody else. They don't do that on forums, fine - but they do piss people off. There's an old saying: "Your right to swing your fist stops at my face." A similar one could be coined for this: "Your right to peddle conspiracy theories stops on our bandwidth". You have NEVER had the right to free speech on these forums - or did you not notice the rules when you signed up? We don't allow religious stuff, sexuality stuff, personal insults - and now we don't allow conspiracy stuff. Deal with it - you have two options. Stay and stop peddling the CT stuff, or go peddle it elsewhere. The next time you bang on about free speech or anything to do with some aspect of a global conspiracy, you will get warning points. |
