Sniper Optics

Now this is what I call some serious freaking Sniper Optics...

Aren't Snipers trained to avoid having their weapon peeking out of a window?

If it wouldn't be day I would say that this looks like a nightvision device, but since it's day, I can't tell.

May Bob fill this lack of knowledge .

Not a real sniper, not a real gun; it's a counter-sniper lure.

The idea is to provide insurgents with a lovely-looking target to tempt them into firing. When they do, the chappie at the back with the binoculars sees where the fire comes from, and they open up with return fire.

The optics are huge so the sun glances off the lense, making a bright flashing light to attract attention. Then when they look, they see a guy with no helmet and a huge weapon (clearly a sniper) in a windowsill, and sieze the opportunity to kill a US sniper.

Of course, it's really a very good model, which is why he doesn't need a helmet.

Chappie at the back has his fingers in his ears because his boss to the left of him has just called in mortar fire on the insurgent who just fired. He's there to carry the model sniper around.

If they were Special Forces and this picture was posted on a military forum, wouldn't their faces have at least been blocked from view with a big black square?

I did fail the funny exam.... I did think he was serious..sorry masaq... Well at least now hopefully noone will go to thier local recruiting office and tell them they wanna join and be a sniper decoy... Not a job I want lol

That guy fails at sniper, hes like the noobs in PR who hang off rooftops.
The Optics on his rifle are most likley Thermal, he looks abit of a joke really doesnt he, Silly bandana, Silly facial expression, Rifle hanging out of window, some guy in the back ground with a crappy pair of binos.

BTW the 'US spec forces) is most likley a fake set up, anyone see any ammo pouches? gear? rucksacks? apart from on the one guy with his legs crossed fingers in his ears? were are the other guys weapons? this picture is fail.
