Guerrilla Warfare by Ernesto Guevera. Amazing book. Reads like a manual for revolution. Really teaches the value of hit and run ambush tactics. Interestingly, he really emphasises the enormous value of remote bombs (essentially IEDs).

2 books just finished.
Sword of Allah - about fundamental Islam, the history, evolution of it and how it cannot exist in a western democratic country. Very interesting book. It's a 'must' read for those who want to make any sense of what they see on the news. Apocolypse - biography of Mamoud Ahmedinejad, the current President of Iran and his dream to hasten the return of the 'hidden Imam', the Madhi, the destruction of Israel and the end of time. Very interesting and opens your eyes to a lot of what you see the media reporting. |

Legacy of the Force: Betrayal.
Not quite finished yet, but so far it's excellent. It's a star wars book (First one I've read), and it's set 60 years after the episode 4. Basically about the New Jedi order, Galactic Alliance and a Cold war type conflict with Correlia (Han Solos home planet). I've missed a big gap in the books though, so there are a few references I don't get, but as a whole it's a very good stand alone book. |

Currently reading: digital texturing and painting
Last book read: Catcher in the Rye I hate being required to read, but if its for fun I will sit down for a few hours and enjoy it. I would like some suggestions to some of the better military themed books. |

I did. Didn't like it much, don't know why.
Try Chickenhawk, Snake Pilot and Low Level Hell if you're in to military helicopter combat in Vietnam, and Armed Action if you want to read about helicopter combat in Operation Telic (GW2) Dylan. Not a Good Day to Die and Fighting Scared also had me gripped (yet more mil). |
