But a good one at that .

Thanks for your participation, now I have a lot more entries in my to-see list .
Anyways, I'd like to remind you that this thread is mostly for movies that have had about nil publicity and as such are hardly known. You don't need to post movies like say... Die Hard 4, since probably everybody who'd care has already seen it.

So, up to my next recommendation(darn, did I really write it that wrond on the thread title?):

Mortal Kombat
(Yes, that's meant to be a "k")

Wait, Mortal Kombat? Yes, Mortal Kombat.
One thing to make clear: Mortal Kombat isn't what you'd call a good movie, but it can still be very entertaining.
The story is rather simple: Besides the Earthrealm there are several other realms. One such realm, called Outworld, wishes to conquer the Earthrealm. To accomplish this, they have to win a Martial Arts-Tournament named Mortal Kombat where their best warriors fight against the earth's best.
Sounds cheesy, right?
But the story isn't the most important part of this movie, it's the fights.
They are quite well done, with many different characters, all having their own fighting styles, as well as unique skills.
Also, Christopher Lambert in the role of the thunder-god Raiden really pulls the movie up, his funny remarks give the movie a slight self-ironic touch that fits good into it.
So, if you like good ol' Martial Arts movies with a touch of fantasy, Mortal Kombat might be a good choice.

Ah, and while am at it: Do not watch the Sequel, Mortal Kombat: Annihilation! It is quite probably the worst serious movie ever produced, and that means something.
