BFV was great back in the day. It may have been arcadey, but it had portable spawns and no dolphin diving, which were both very good. Yeah, the M60 was always uber, but what do you expect? It is the gun of Rambo, after all.

JoetheMoe: actually a shotgun made for killing people can kill u from 30 to 50 yards
MadCat2400: As opposed to a shotgun made for baking cakes?

I loved BF:Vietnam, but a friend borrowed it last summer and he didn't bring it back.

My friend made a uber realism mod for BF:V with new weapon models and shit as well. Uber realism in that combat was OFP style. However it wasn't publically released for obvious reasons. IIRC most of BFV's features can be coded in BF2 anyways.

It was a fantastic game, but EA failed miserably and it was eternally plagued with crushing balance issues

I'd really love to meet the guy that decided a M60 - LAW kit would not RUIN THE GAME FOREVER

No insta-proning + weapon sway (to an extent).

This signature is here due to lack of imagination.
