US Army Green Berets

The United States Army Special Forces, known in the United States simply as Special Forces or SF, is an elite special operations force of the U.S. Army.

Special Forces units are tasked with seven specific missions: unconventional warfare, foreign internal defense, special reconnaissance, direct action, combating terrorism, counter-proliferation, and information operations. The first two emphasize language, cultural, and training skills in working with foreign troops. Other duties include coalition warfare and support, combat search and rescue (CSAR), security assistance, peacekeeping, humanitarian assistance, humanitarian de-mining and counter-drug operations. Many of their operational techniques are classified, but some nonfiction works and doctrinal manuals are available.

Didn't watch all of it due to way too much over hyping. Also some of the footage they showed were bloody contractors, not Green Berets.

It doesn't really bothered me, this isn't the only forum I posted the videos on so I still get a lot of viewers for each episode; and no, Green Berets are not Rangers, that's like me asking whether or not the SAS are nowaday called the British Commando.

weaponology confounds me. one moment their talking about a military unit, the next their trying to tell the history of a weapon. I wish the had it like those older shows (like 'wings of the Luftwaffe') that was actually concise and informative and didn't have a over hyper bald guy stating that he was a navy seal over and over again.... oh and those zany camera angle and flashy graphics, makes me get a headache.

@ the M4 "Carbeen" (as they seem to call it) is of a larger calibre than the MP5.

That programme is at best questionable in the quality of its information.
