Is paypal secure?

I've been using paypal for ages, and it has never given me a problem.

But my friends have told me that many ppl lose their details via paypal.

So is it (relatively) secure or not?

Never had a problem with it before, although they do nickel and dime you to death.

It is only as safe as the person using it. If you constantly download hundreds of programs (or lots of porn!) click on links in scam emails and have an easy to guess password then it isn't safe.

Paypal is safe, but you should have a "clean" pc. No strangename.exe in Tasks, no malware, ecc

Please, have patience... i'm a friggin italian ..

Paypal is very safe.

You'd only lose your account if you're stupid, and click on shifty e-mails and such, in which case you probably do deserve to lose your money.

Or would be guaranteed to lose it anyhow.

I trust it with my moneys.

I have got a question actually, I have a Debit card i tried to add.. it worked untill i was in the actual paypal account. they wanted a 4 digit number that had been sent somewhere " I dont know where "

I was banned due to typing the wrong code 3 times, but luckily got unbanned after a week or two lol..

Im still in the dilemma where i cannot find those 4 digits... its not the 3 last digits on the backside of my card. its something completely different

Any clues ?
