X-fire supports video capture now

Just installed the newest version of x-fire and one thing in the changelog caught my attention - apparently they've added a beta support for video capture.
I had no time to test it out myself but the options tab looks very similar to Fraps.

Anyone has any experiences with it yet ?

Turn 360 degrees and walk away is what you should do tbh.

Its great how xfire programmers are introducing all these new things to the program. No longer do you have to have a number of other programs running to record videos and talk screenshots, leet as fook.

I havent tried it out yet either, love to see someone elses videos using it though.

You're a noob

It seems to work just fine.
I also discovered that Xfire can now dislpay your FPS, and that they removed the lag when taking screenshots.

So no more Fraps for me :]

I had the same thing with Fraps files. Use something else like WMP, Winamp, MPC(CCCP) and it should work.

The videos, are they saved as raw avi's? Compressed avi's are no good for video editting . And how about sound quality?

I haven't tested it yet .
