Burn windows vista
Is it possible to burn the windows vista installation cd to a disk? I ask this because I got dell to send me 64 bit and my dad wants me to check I can make a copy of the cd incase the 64 bit version turns out to be bad or If I want to switch back.

My advice, keep Vista 32, 64 has been nothign but trouble for people i know who have it.

yep keep 32, if you dont know much about both systems dont go messing with them, read up on it, google it and then ask people who know, i would prefer you spend a few hours looking it up before you actually start thinking about installing it, and dude seriously your 15, in 17 and i feel that vista 32 fits my needs perfectly, if you ask my advise, i say stick with 32 home premium

I dunno, 64 works decently enough for me, I got it so I could make the most of my 4 gigs of ram. There is still some stuff that doesn't work, or works badly, but recent patches have been fixing a lot.

Yeah you can, because I burned mine.
But you need a program like NERO to burn the file as ISO. There's a little more to it but I couldn't remember now. |

Hm, I got Vista online, then burned it to a disk, so it is possible. That thing came pre-loaded as an iso file though.

At first I thought this thread was about literally burning Vista. Like with fire. And I totally 100% agreed. But with this...
So do you have a 32 bit vista installation? |
