Wait, Musharaff?!? If that's true Ron Paul is really off his rocker. Having the tyrant as an ally against Taliban insurgents is one thing, giving him all of Iraq on a silver platter is quite something else. This is the guy who suspends the constitution and initiates martial law without batting an eye.

The thing is, Musharaff is against the taliban and he's an Iraqi, someone who the Iraqi people can trust and follow. Unlike the current leaders over there Musharaff actually knows how to run a country. Even if he is a dictator, just like Saddam, he will be able to keep terrorists out of the country, just like Saddam did.

What makes you say that?
Also why do you like McCain and not Giuliani/Romney/Huckabee? What differences made you prefer McCain is what I mean.

Honestly, not a big Ron Paul fan. I really just don't think we need another mature white man in the Oval Office.

In the interest of full disclosure I will say that I'm basically a libertarian, a little liberal leaning.
I'm not a big fan of removing important things like the DoE. The Department of Defense could use a bloody good pruning though. Largest employer and spender in the government, but no one even bothers to suggest that we cut or even meet budgets. Just "spend spend spend, it's patriotic". That is a bunch of crap. *Rant over*.

Well he broke all records yesterday, $6m in a single day, almost 60,000 donations. And how does the mainstream media respond? It barely does. Each featured a couple sentences on the subject and moved on. Apparently Lieberman endorsing McCain is far more important than 60,000 people donating in a 24 hour period...
