MS Releases Vista Multi-GPU Hotfix

*NOTE*
This term, >Linked Display Adapter (LDA) configuration, Should not be confused with Multi Monitor use, it's just Microsoft's generic term for SLI/cross fire systems.

So if your running Vista with a SLI/CF configuration you will benefit from improved performance. Maybe this fix is what is needed for some of the Vista troubles and PR. Here's what happens in layman's terms:

The hot fix addresses balance loading by telling the OS to not withhold new DMA (direct memory access) packets if one GPU (video card) of an SLI/CF config is busy instead of waiting for GPU#1 to finish what's on its plate before serving GPU#2, it just feeds GPU#2 if it gets hungry for raw data....<Sigh it seems I'm ready for lunch ...heh-heh
