I have had Utorrent for about a year now and its been working fine. But, I feel that my speeds could be greatly increased if I set it up right. I am kind of scared now because I tried to set up a port with my old router and it froze, so i had to buy a new one (Dlink). Does anyone have a proven method that won't f*ck up my router or computer?

I used the portforwarding guide and that is what f*cked up my router. It might have only been the router though (it was netgear). I might try it again on my Dlink.
