Like I said, you need to call their tech support/customer service, and explain nicely to them what has happened. They sent me a new one, didn't even have to send the old one back, even though there isn't anything I can do with it.
As far as Logitech, I have bought a bunch of good stuff from them, espically the mouse I am using, a MX510, that I have had for like 4 years, and it is still like new. Too bad their drivers for vista suck, and none for my Vista 64. Had to play around to get all the extra buttons useable. |

Problem solved, I just pulled the jack out just a tiny bit so it was halfway.

I had a similar logitech, worked great. Had it for over 2.5 years.
