The Bible doesn't state the earth is flat.. And regarding the four corners, they're north/west/south/east.

But enough about that, did you know there's also something called 'Hollow Earth'? It's a theory about people living inside our earth. If I'm correct the theory says there's supposed to be (or was) a big hole at the north pole, leading straight into the inner earth. Some say the inner earth is also called Atlantis (it.... fell in the hole?). Others say aliens inhabited our planet, but went to live in different parts of the world: inside it, in the ground (earthmen, so to say), above it (like we do).
Anyhow, the inner earth has its own inner sun, which causes our earth to heat up. It's never dark, etc..

There are probably loads of websites explaining the theory

psalms are songs written to praise god. Can any man move the earth? no.. and that is the song writers point.

the song writer used the word 'foundations' to express the the building of the earth.

surely anyone can see that the bible is full of metaphors. When we talk we use hundreds of then. when you say "I'm gonna kill you!" do you really mean it? how 'bout when you say "damn, that bags weighs a ton!" do you mean it weighs 2000 lbs? of course not. this "ohh metaphors prove the bible wrong" argument is really lame. at least use evolution or something a little more credible to start bible bashing

Well here lies the problem.

Fundies like to pick and choose which parts are metaphorical and which are to be taken literally.

Anything which isn't convenient, or takes away the bibles validity is a metaphor.. anything which the fundies like is to be taken literally.

Picking and choosing.

The reason I'm not responding (pretty much as I explained) is due to my lack of confidence in your ability to think intelligently and reasonably about the topic of the Bible.
