Virtual war

Why cant political wars, Religious wars or any war be fought virtually.

Instead of erasing souls from this planet, we could simply respawn to fight another day..

In 100 years or so when every country on the planet has the ability to launch nukes, the face of war will change.

We are the pioneers..

ZOMG L33T H4X!!! Because then you have to have rules and constraints, to which some may not agree with. Same in real life (Geneva?) but people can get around it. Also governments have spent millions on said nukes and other more "usable" weaponary so why would they no make them obsolete?

Just a start gotta go but i'll come up with more reasons...

Native Americans (Indians) use to settle land disputes by entering a non leathal combat which consisted of "bopping" the opponate on the head with a baton.

Perhaps an international virtual war committe could set the ground work on the "rules" as a last ditch political effort before real war at the very least.

Then you will understand why this is a bad idea. (due to the backstory of Wargasm, obviously. Wargasm was hella good and doesn't recieve nearly enough recognition or praise).

I looooooooooved playing Wargasm. It was light years ahead of its time and contained elements that still are amazing today.

It wont work because the idea is retarded. Yeah, I'm going to let some other country come take over mine just because of a bunch of 0's and 1's. Yeah, no.

I know it doesnt rly have a lot to do with the thread but it just flew in my brian and i decided to post.
And if world leader would play pr to solve conflicts.....would bush be a good commander?
