Quake wars a digusting mess
Unfortunately in my chronic boredom I went out and bort the new quake game. I must say it horrible it just one big bunny hop fest infantry move to fast so every ones just dodging bullets it is just so so gay. Waste of a $100 bucks that and im still bored.

I assume that he got a collectors edition or something. It's amazing how many of those they crank out nowadays.

Yeah, I also heard that the Quake-like speed and hopping kind of dampens the teamwork-effect. The teamwork might be forced by special objectives only doable by a certain class, but infight it's just everyone for himself.
But nonetheless, I also read somewhere that it is rather hard to succesfully "get into the game", but as soon as you know what class has what abilities by heart and such, the gameplay is supposed to improve a whole lot. I kind of liked the Exp-system of the prequel Wolfenstein:Enemy Territory (which is free btw.), but there I missed the diversity of the weapons. The MP's are hugely overpowered and make other weapons like MG's,Flamethrowers or single-shot rifles obsolete. I very hoped that this would be better in Quake Wars, but with even the vehicles being vulnerable against you usual assault-rifle, it seems to me more like Quake 3 than Enemy Territory |

And some of us played the Beta and realised this months ago.
I'm thankful that some of us includes me. I mock your wasting of money. |

The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

Got this for £10 2nd hand and I must agree with you Rhys: it's a bunnyhopping, frag-fest of lone wolves.
Not a fun game at all and buggy as Hell. |

I found it funny that the crysis beta was 100x more successful/better for a game that split its efforts equally with single/multiplayer.
