I've been playing around with Crysis demo today, and thought I would show a screenshot from hitting print screen, so it shows both my desktop (on a second display) and the game. Those are my feet in the wall paper outside a national park in Colorado.

As far as Crysis goes, the Fraps FPS # didn't show up, but I was getting 7-8 FPS at that point, with everything on Very High. Thing is, look at my CPU and Memory useage on the desktop widget. Hardly being bothered at all.
I am running a 6600quad a bit overclocked I think, 4 gig Corsair Dominator memory a bit overclocked I think, and a 8800GTS 640mb graf. card.

I say "I think", because I thought I might need to boost those some to help with Crysis, and I have never overclocked before, but changed some setting in the overclocking program that came with my Asus Motherboard. Not sure how to tell what i am running at. And by the way, I did have some Tempature monitors going, and everything was at 32C, so pretty cold.

Point is, holy crap. The Crytek people just said that Crysis is more CPU bound than Graf., but I guess they consider even a 8800GTS not too good.

Plays OK in DX9 with everything on High except Post effects and Shaders to med. Then everything is about 30FPS or so.

if you don't inspect the picture too closely I would say that it was real!
