Bring back group B. And the total lack of Health & Safety that went with it. You ever been to watch a rally these days? You sit in a cold, Welsh forest for 4 hours to see a couple of cars flash past in the distance because "its too dangerous" to be any closer.
Bah... Sure people died, but what better motorsport viewing has there ever been? Sure, I've only ever seen the old videos (gits stopped it 2 years before I was born *shakes fist*) but damn, thats impressive stuff. Rallys these days just don't grab me like they used to. Hell, even back in the days of Ford Escort Cosworths (the 2nd best rally car ever built, the 1st of course being the RS200, with the Delta S4, Integrale & Sierra Cosworth all close behind), series 1 scoobies and Mitsibushi Evos battling it out for supremecy were better. |

The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

I went to quite a few of the lombards (now rac) rallys back in those days, and you could get way way closer to the cars than you can nowadays. The main thing when watching in those days was to always make sure there was a big tree to dive behind if the driver lost it. I never saw a rs200 race, it only entered about three before group b was banned.
My faves back then were the metro 6r4's, the lancia delta s4 and the audi's. The cars seemed quicker then, but in reality I think the current generation would be just as fast. They don't have the 600+bhp that the group b cars had, but they make up for it with supperior traction and handling. By far the best site was always the bright pink 'Mr Tompinkson carpets' sierra cosworth driven by some welsh guy (i can't remember his name) who's day job was driving the local school bus. So what do you guys think would win, a group b or a current wrc? |

none of yall have taste.
95 Toyota Supra. ![]() i WAS the proud owner of this... but it didn't make the journey from Huston Texas to Chicago IL sadly. the truck driver got into an accident in that big storm that hit. just about halfway to IL. lost control of the truck. went over the center median, flipped onto side and into a ditch. my car was top load on the carrier. the straps broke and the car fell off roof down onto the roadway completely smashing it into a pancake. that was the first time i cried in a long time when i heard the news. but they did give all the money back for the car and the shipping. as well as the 2 other cars on the carrier that were damaged in the crash. the amazing thing was. the truck and the cars on it were only ones involved in the accident. on the plus side though. i think i found a 93 in Ohio i might be getting now. needs a new starter so weel see how that goes |

This is amusing here.
First, Travis Pastrana at the X Games
Then, Colin Mcrae (RIP) has his turn
This is only 60seconds long, but skip to 0.45 ...
--------- and just found out, I can get group 20 cars now on my own policy without being raped. S8 for £1,200 ... sweeeeeet. Potentially, The V12 7 series? Need some saving, but worth it? Oh yes. | |||||||||

My amg is auto, which is kind of essential for me.
I had a race with a scooby sti last week, left him standing on the straights, but in the bends he was all over me, which is no suprise. We both hit 160mph ish on the straights, bit naughty really, I should grow up I've just ordered a Lexus IS-F for my wife, should be fun as it looks nearly as quick as my merc on paper. |

The GOD OF FAIL is here!
The FAIL God now officially has 15 worshippers. Start worshipping me today and get a personal FAIL poem for free! A Handicapped parking sign does not signify that this spot is for handicapped people. It is actually in fact a warning, that the spot belongs to Chuck Norris and that you will be handicapped if you park there. |
