How has no one not mentioned the car that will smite all others?
The next Skyline, the Nissan GT-R...

In answe to kp, your opinion is indeed your opinion. The knob on the steering wheel is not a performance thing at all. I am in a wheelchair and have to use hand controls +the knob to enable me to drive it. The autobox has paddles and a manual mode, which actually reacts very quickly without a big delay when you change up or down. Handling wise it is pretty good, and feels a much lighter car than it is. Admittidly it is not the best handling sports car in the world, but probably one of the best handling cars of it's size. Only the m5 estate, maserati quattroporte and the audi s4 handle better. I've not driven the beemer or maserati, so can't comment. But I have been in the audi, and although it's great for traction on smooth roads, it is way too stiff for everyday driving. I've broke my back once already and don't intend doing it again in a pothole. The wheels are 19". Standard wheels are 18", so I would hardly say the rims don't fit the car. (see my post a few pages back for a picture with standard rims). Yes maybe an estate car mixed with a sports car is a bit pointless, but, as I said before I am in a wheelchair so I need the space to carry my gear, but I also like outrageous performance, so this is the ideal car for me
And to lothrian, I quite fancy the rs6 myself, but if the suspension is like it is in the s6, and it will probably be even stiffer, then it will be just down right unusable on normal roads. Plus there is rumored to be a 650 bhp supercharged version of mine on the way, so audi may not keep it's horsepower crown for long! |

I do know of one other car suitable for a disabled person, with Ferrari performance.
![]() ![]() Then again, it is a custom made Ferrari for the sultan of Brunei ... bit pricey though and performance will be about the same. |

Budvar: well, you have an excuse.
For any other person (including me), I still think it is WRONG! Wrong, I tell you! |

Just been doing a bit of research kp, looking at the weight of these sports cars, and found some pretty suprising results.
E63 Amg : 1955kg Lamborghini Mercielago : 1650kg Mclaren slr roadster : 1750kg Aston Martin Db9 1800kg Ferrari 612 Scaglietti : 1840kg Ok, I admit, the cars I have chosen are the heavier of the sports/supercars, but looking at these weights, my merc is hardly a big fat b*stard Looking at the figures, 115kg is a pretty good figure for the practical body and extra seats, it suprised me when I looked. And yes the wheels might be a bit drug dealer'ish and the interior a bit over the top, but did I mention that I am a drug dealer with no taste! Only joking |
