Oil at record $90 a barrel today 10/18/07

I've noticed a few trading threads the last couple weeks. So I've got to run this commodity pick by some of you stock market trader/gamers.

- There is something very symmetric about a $100 a barrel target (it will be hit!)
- Oil has gone from $20 to $90 in the last 6 years ($60 to $90 just this year alone! = $30,000 profit on just one measly contact if you got in and held it to expiration.

...So oil will inevitably go from today's $90 to at least $100 a barrel by x-mass (a 10 dollar rise in oil = $10,000 @ 1000 barrels per contract) You can pick up a $90 December options call for less than $1000 per contract = $9,000 profit minus commissions. Just a thought boys and girls.
