Not unless you want the cadre to pwn your ass.

Reality is what we take to be true. What we take to be true is what we believe. What we believe is based upon our perceptions. What we perceive depends upon what we look for. What we look for depends on what we think. What we think depends on what we perceive. What we perceive determines what we believe. What we believe determines what we take to be true. What we take to be true is our reality.

You've just gotta get a Bullshitter +1 keyboard, and get at it.

I put out a 16 page paper in APA format on recreation and leisure studies (not as easy as it sounds) complete with sources and quotes in under 6 hours. It's possible. I'm not sure which a cadre member would dislike more. Trying to cheat essentially, or quitting. I know when I was in, my Sgt would chew me out for either. But this is the man that allegedly held a picture of a half-fucked up Iraqi kid to his kid when she cried, and told her she has no reason to cry. So you guys may be softer over there.

I had a friend in HS that did all his book reports from watching the movie and BHD is pretty close to the book.
We were soldiers once and young you could not do from the movie.
Watch BHD and skim the book and should be able to get the details that aren't in the movie so they don't know you didn't read the whole book.
The combat sequences are pretty close and they wouldn't be much of the report anyway.
You would want to focus on the details about the clans and the other forces in the theater that weren't featured as much in the movie.
Also, a quick Wikki look at the history of Ethiopia would help a lot.

Now that's what I like to hear! But I just bought the book and 400 pages in about 2 or 3 days is going to be VERY difficult for me as I am a slow reader. But I will try...

Don't read it.
Skim it.
let your eyes flow down the page and stop at things that stand out.
All the dialogue between the soldiers doesn't matter.
The weapons don't matter much either, but I would include the lack of stopping power reported for the 5.56 rounds as that sounds like something the cadre would like to hear.
Remember, this is about pleasing the person grading your report, not being super accurate.

The movie and the book are reletivley close, the movie leaves out Alphabet, the BH on the Dock, the MG down the street, but the director and script writers agree that they don't matter.

I found the Book was easier to follow because everyone was named

Yeah, after skimming through a bit of it it's just about exactly the same. A few minor changes that don't matter.
