I hate the camera!!! omg when you try to do a sharp turn in external camera the camera shifts positions which then makes your plane go in a different direction.

Its also a little bit too arcadey, tho i do like the realism and simulator settings its no match for the original IL-2 Strumovik.

Tho it has more action and is more fun, and the british accents are horrendous

Anyone know if theres any way to turn off AA , i bought the game yesterday and im lucky to get 15 fps when i can play other games fine.

IL2 engine does not support AA, you have to enable it manually if you want to play with it. Unless you mean Anti Aircraft guns....

Well my pc is above the games requirments but everything ingame looks so dam smooth. I think this is whats killing my framerate...

Have a look in your graphic card's settings. Maybe you are forcing AA in every game.

how to set up IL2 for online.

Buy IL2 1946
D/L 4.08
D/L hyberlobby
select Forgotten battles
show hyperlobby your il2 directory

or just get Xfire if you just want to play D/F severs

Skies~of~fire (and Valor) are the best severs for newbs.

Hyperlobby can't detect the game installation crappy doodle. This game better be worth the hassle to play online.

Any solutions?

Are you telling it to detect Forgotten Battles and leading it to the il2fb.exe?
