lol how does that create a job opening when people are taking the day off? Not showing up for work is one thing but taking the day off = vacation/sick/personal or whatever and if you don't have that at your job, you won't be taking the day off from McD's to make a political point. Nov 6 should be changed to the 14th and I'll hit up the slopes in protest.

I was being a little facetious but I think a fair amount of the people that don't go to work that day will simply call in sick and if their employers find out they were part of some commie style general strike then they will get fired.

This is going to be like the "don't buy gasoline day", a total non starter in most places but cities with big populations of lefties will see some turn out I think.

Oh yes. Copper Mountain, Winter Park, A Basin, Loveland, Breckenridge, Keystone and others will be open by Nov 14th.

Mountains around here don't open until late Nov/early Dec and with the snow conditions the past couple of years its usually with like 3 trails. Good skiing doesn't usually start until late Dec. I need to move somewhere with big mountains.
