Far out man! This totally blows my mind. Dig it, lets open the doors of perception now and start getting groovy before the music's over.

"They have a philosophy," "They believe industrial society will collapse when the oil runs out and that the answer is to change people's mindsets using acid. They believe LSD can help people to see that a return to a natural society based on self-sufficiency is the only way to save themselves.

I can remember this as a radical "weatherman" philosophy. But sadly it was alcohol that eventually surfaced dulling our sense of perception and leading us further away from the garden and into this sad state

I have a friend who dropped acid once, he could paint on the walls with a stick - without even touching the wall. And then he saw a guy who was "showering" in sunshine...

It doesn't surprise me that he had revelations while under LSD but that paragraph is hardly the secret to life. It's just shortsighted wishful thinking. There will be something to replace oil, it may not be as cheep at first, but people are extremely adaptive(especially when they need to be). The whole falling back to nature is just lunacy though. It sounds great in theory but it basically translates to everyone fending for themselves, much death, starvation, and devastation, and an eventual recycle into kings and emperors.

I hate to break it to but when you add in legal psychoactive drugs, us "drug heads" outnumber you ...whatever it is you call yourself, by a large margin.

I grew up with a sign in my room that said " Never trust a man who doesn't drink ".

I very much doubt being under the influence would help anything apart from spacial art. Brain logic functions go down quite a bit as directing thought processes becomes almost impossible.

Well they did this study where they would do MRI or CAT scans or something like that to people who were high vs people who were sober. Might be more groups but I'm not too sure. But anyway, it was revealed that when people were high(off pot), they had activated areas of the brain that normally wouldn't be linked together. Thus, the reasoning behind remembering shit that is unrelated or some other odd aspects.

Anyway, you can take that however you want.
